WWE Crown Jewel 2026 takes place on Saturday, November 7, at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On October 28, Riyadh Season announced that the show is moving to a new venue, with full refunds for ticket holders; the date and time have not changed. Read the details in our Crown Jewel venue update. For the third year in a row, the show is built around Champion vs. Champion matches, and this year's main event puts World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns against Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.

Here is everything you need to know: the date and start time, how to watch, the full match card so far, the story behind Reigns vs. Zayn and our predictions. We will update this page as WWE adds more matches.

Latest update: November 3

  • Sami Zayn got the last word on the go-home Raw in Brooklyn. Roman Reigns was attacked by Cruz Montana, who unmasked and joined The 946, and Zayn then hit Reigns with a Helluva Kick to end the show. Full details in our Raw results for November 2.
  • Liv Morgan pinned Chelsea Green in a six-woman tag match on Raw, five days before they meet for the women's Crown Jewel Championship.
  • The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Austin Theory) beat Penta, Je'Von Evans and Dragon Lee, with Breakker spearing Evans for the win. Breakker and Theory defend the World Tag Team Championship against Penta and Evans on Saturday.
  • Randy Orton promised to be the "Rhodes Killer" after John Cena named Cody Rhodes the first entrant in the John Cena Classic.
  • Ethan Page won the Intercontinental Championship from Chad Gable on Raw, so the Gable vs. Page title match many expected at Crown Jewel happened on TV instead.
  • Gunther vs. Finn Bálor is still not official, but it looks close. Read Gunther vs. Finn Balor: history and what to expect, and the latest on the tag title match in our Crown Jewel card changes report.
  • The final SmackDown before Crown Jewel was taped on November 2. If you want to know what happens, read our SmackDown spoilers.

October 31

  • Crown Jewel has moved to The Venue (ANB Arena), an indoor arena in Riyadh, and new tickets are on sale. The date and start time are unchanged. Full details in our Crown Jewel venue update.
  • Both champions in the women's match survived SmackDown on October 30. Chelsea Green beat Nikki Bella, and Liv Morgan got away again when Tiffany Stratton's Money in the Bank cash-in was stopped by Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
  • Sami Zayn is still Undisputed WWE Champion after beating Trick Williams in a No Disqualification match, so Reigns vs. Zayn is safe.
  • Gunther vs. Finn Bálor looks like the next match to be added. Bálor, as The Demon, put Gunther through the announce table on SmackDown, and the Wrestling Observer reported that a Crown Jewel poster shows the two side by side. It is not official yet.
  • Read the full show in our SmackDown results for October 30.

October 27

  • The card has a fourth match. On the October 26 Raw, Penta and Je'Von Evans asked Adam Pearce for a title shot, and Pearce made it official: The Vision's Bron Breakker and Austin Theory will defend the World Tag Team Championship against Penta and Evans at Crown Jewel.
  • Both men's champions are still on track, but both have to get through one more title defense. Sami Zayn beat Je'Von Evans in an impromptu Undisputed WWE Championship match on Raw, and he faces Trick Williams on the October 30 SmackDown. Chelsea Green also defends the WWE Women's Championship against Nikki Bella on that SmackDown.
  • Liv Morgan survived Raw too. Becky Lynch beat her by disqualification, so the title did not change hands, and Tiffany Stratton's Money in the Bank cash-in was stopped before it began when Dominik Mysterio pulled Morgan to safety.
  • Next week's Raw in Brooklyn on November 2 is the go-home show, with John Cena's return. Read our John Cena Raw return story and the full Raw results for October 26.
  • Crown Jewel is still set for Riyadh. WWE has started setting up the venue, and nothing has changed with the date or location. The latest is in our Crown Jewel 2026 status update.

October 23

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match was made official on SmackDown, and Chelsea Green kept her WWE Women's Championship, so her match with Liv Morgan is still on. Sami Zayn also has to get past Trick Williams, who is set to challenge him for the WWE Championship on next week's SmackDown. Crown Jewel is still scheduled for Riyadh, though security concerns in Saudi Arabia have raised questions about the location; TKO CEO Ari Emanuel said, "Right now, everything is still set." Crown Jewel 2026 date, start time and venue

  • Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
  • Start time: noon ET / 9 a.m. PT (5 p.m. in the UK, 8 p.m. in Riyadh)
  • Venue: The Venue (ANB Arena), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (moved from Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD)

How to watch Crown Jewel 2026

  • United States: the ESPN app, with an ESPN Unlimited plan. It is also available through pay TV providers that carry ESPN.
  • Everywhere else: Netflix, in the countries where Netflix streams WWE.

What is the Crown Jewel Championship?

Crown Jewel is the one night of the year when WWE's top champions from Raw and SmackDown face each other. The men's champions meet for the men's Crown Jewel Championship, and the women's champions meet for the women's Crown Jewel Championship.

The winner takes home the Crown Jewel Championship. In past years, the champions' own titles were not on the line, so both Superstars leave Riyadh still holding the title they brought in.

Previous winners:

  • 2024 (Riyadh): Cody Rhodes beat Gunther, and Liv Morgan beat Nia Jax.
  • 2025 (Perth): Seth Rollins beat Cody Rhodes, and Stephanie Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton.

Crown Jewel 2026 match card

Four matches are official so far:

  • Men's Crown Jewel Championship: Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight Champion) vs. Sami Zayn (Undisputed WWE Champion)
  • Women's Crown Jewel Championship: Liv Morgan (Women's World Champion) vs. Chelsea Green (WWE Women's Champion)
  • Last Man Standing: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
  • World Tag Team Championship: The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) (c) vs. Penta and Je'Von Evans

More matches could still be added before Saturday. The most likely is Gunther vs. Finn Bálor, which has been building on SmackDown for weeks. It is not official yet.

Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn: the story so far

Few rivalries in recent WWE history have as much behind them as this one.

In 2022, Sami Zayn worked his way into The Bloodline and became the group's Honorary Uce. Fans loved him in that role, but it ended at the 2023 Royal Rumble, when Zayn refused to attack Kevin Owens and hit Reigns with a chair instead. A few weeks later, Reigns beat Zayn in front of Zayn's home crowd in Montreal at Elimination Chamber.

Zayn got his payback at Night of Champions in Jeddah in May 2023. He and Kevin Owens defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Reigns and Solo Sikoa, and won when Jimmy Uso turned on Reigns with two superkicks. Zayn finished Solo with a Helluva Kick. Read the full story in Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn: the full history.

In 2026, both men found their way to the top of their brands. Reigns beat CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night 2 to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and he retained it against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. On SmackDown, Zayn beat CM Punk in Mexico City on September 11 to win the Undisputed WWE Championship for the second time. Kevin Owens hit Punk with the title belt behind the referee's back, and Zayn finished him with the Helluva Kick.

The match was made official on the October 12 episode of Raw. A week later, the two opened Raw arguing over whose championship means more. Reigns even suggested that Zayn might not still be WWE Champion by the time Crown Jewel comes around. Then Penta, who holds the men's Money in the Bank contract, came out and reminded both champions that he can cash in on either of them at any time.

Reigns also has trouble of his own to deal with. At the end of that same Raw, he came out to help The Usos against The 946, and he stood in the ring with Jey, Jimmy and Solo Sikoa as the show went off the air.

Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn by the numbers

  • Head to head on WWE TV and Premium Live Events: they have been on opposite sides five times, and Reigns has won four. Zayn's only win was the tag team match at Night of Champions 2023.
  • Roman Reigns in 2026: 7 wins, 0 losses.
  • Sami Zayn in 2026: 10 wins, 27 losses and 1 draw.
  • Reigns has held the World Heavyweight Championship since April. Zayn won his title less than two months ago.

You can compare both Superstars in more detail on our Compare page.

Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green

Liv Morgan won the Women's World Championship at Money in the Bank on October 10, when she pinned Stephanie Vaquer in a triple threat match that also included Becky Lynch. She was also the first ever women's Crown Jewel Champion in 2024, so she knows this stage.

Chelsea Green first won the WWE Women's Championship as interim champion in a ladder match at SummerSlam in August, and she has spent the last few weeks proving she belongs at the top. On the October 19 Raw, she teamed with IYO SKY to beat Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, even with Morgan getting involved from ringside.

Head to head on WWE TV and Premium Live Events, Morgan leads 5-1 in matches where they were on opposite sides.

Crown Jewel 2026 predictions

Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn: Roman Reigns wins. WWE has put him back at the center of Raw this year, and with The Bloodline story against The 946 just getting started, there is little reason to have him lose in Riyadh. Sami works best when he is chasing and scheming, and the Kevin Owens angle around his title win suggests his story on SmackDown is still going somewhere else.

The real wild card is Penta. He now has his own match on the card, a World Tag Team Championship match with Je'Von Evans, so a cash-in on the same night looks less likely. But WWE has kept his briefcase hanging over both champions for weeks, and he is still the one man who can change the main event in an instant.

Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green: Liv Morgan wins. She only just became Women's World Champion, and WWE is unlikely to cool her off two weeks later. Chelsea is at her best as a character who schemes her way through, and that usually means coming up just short on the biggest stage. With Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez and IYO SKY all involved in this story on Raw, do not be surprised if the finish comes with some outside help.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton: Cody Rhodes wins. Orton has spent weeks daring Rhodes to punt him, and a Last Man Standing match is built for exactly that kind of payoff. Expect a brutal match that ends with the punt Orton keeps saying Rhodes will never throw.

The Vision (c) vs. Penta and Je'Von Evans: The Vision retain. Breakker and Theory are WWE's top tag team, and Penta is more valuable as a threat with his briefcase than as a tag champion. Expect Evans to look great in defeat. We will add predictions for any other matches as they are announced. You can also vote for your own picks on our Crown Jewel 2026 event page.

Final word

With two Champion vs. Champion matches already set and the card still growing, Crown Jewel 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest show of WWE's fall season. Check back here for match card updates, and come back on November 7 for the results.
