Before you judge: why losses don't mean what you think
WWE is scripted, so a loss is a booking decision, not a sign that a wrestler is bad. And most of these losses happen at house shows, the untelevised live events WWE runs on weekends.
House shows have their own logic. The good guys usually win to send the crowd home happy, which means the heels who work those shows week after week pile up losses. Top heels are often put in the main event against the biggest babyface in the building, and they lose there too. That is why so many of the names above are villains, and why some of WWE's most featured stars appear on this list.
The best examples this year: Jacy Jayne (19–32–2 overall, but 12–8–1 on TV and at PLEs).
Ethan Page has lost the most
Ethan Page has lost 44 times in 2026, one more than anyone else. The overall record is 18–44–1, but on Raw, SmackDown and PLEs it is 12–13, which shows how many of those losses came on the road.
A champion with a losing record
Ethan Page holds the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but is 18–44–1 in 2026. On TV and at PLEs, the record is 12–13. It is the house show rule in action: on the road, champions are often booked to lose to the hero of the night, while on TV, where the stories happen, it is a different matter.

How we count
Our records cover every WWE match a wrestler has had this year: Raw, SmackDown, Premium Live Events and house shows. A tag team or multi-person match counts as a loss for everyone on the losing side. Only the current main roster (Raw, SmackDown and free agents) is included. Records come from Cagematch and update every day.
